Manoranjan Forging Industries (MFI) was formed on 80’s as a proprietorship firm, it was formed by Mr. Manoranjan Das and the factory is situated at W Road Shanpur Sibtala Dasnagar. Howrah-711105. Over the years business grew and supplied material to the customers who take tenders from Indian Railways. In the financial year 2016-17 Monoranjan Forging Industries converted into a partnership firm.

Currently Manoranjan Forging Industries is having their office and own factory at Howrah measuring about 2100 sq ft (approx.) and also taken one 5160 sq ft factory area on rent which is situated at Dasarath Ghose Lane Howrah. MFI deals in various segments of engineering items i.e 1. Point Connecting Rod / Ground Connection for Point Machine. 2. Poul Rod 3. Solid Joint 4. Screw Joint and CLS Ladder, which are used by Indian Railways and all these products ultimate application is in the signaling line of Indian Railways. It supplies finished goods to the vendors who are registered directly with Indian Railways and has taken various approvals.

MFI is doing business from last 35 years and there is a continuous effort to increase its production capacity to meet the current order and requirements of customers, there are very few players in the items in which MFI deals and production is almost booked by the customers for next 3 years down the line.

Currently MFI is producing 800-900 number of finished goods on monthly basis therefore achieving 9600 -10800 numbers of finished products in a year. MFI is targeting to increase its production to 18000-20000 numbers in coming years and continuously working on the same.

Given below a flow chart in brief to show the production process of the firm: -
Step 1 :- Basic Raw Materials used for production i.e. MS Rod / MS Flat / Coal.
Step 2 :- Cutting of MS Road and MS Flat as per the specified drawing. (Machine Cutting)
Step 3 :- Then starts process of Forging, Bending , Drilling and Welding. (Manual Process)
Step 4 :- Assembling of Items and Colouring the Finished Products for final dispatch.
